We’ve been at it since 2015 (see: www.subjectrunner.com). Over the years we’ve come across a common problem
clients and industry colleagues experience too: There is simply no good, free, map-based resource out there showing details and
boundaries of new construction developments in key markets across the US. We’ve looked and never found one, so we’re building it ourselves.
Kayetan is a creative strategist and consultant in the CRE world for a wide range of high level assignments supporting deals and projects valued into the nine figures. He is often hired by developers, brokers and owners for things such as pitch book development for raising debt/equity, offering memorandum development for investment sales and overall marketing strategy consulting for medium/large sized CRE brokerage shops and REITs. He specializes in: ground-up developments, retail, medical and multifamily. He also heads up a team of four designers at SubjectRunner.com, all of whom are part of the HotBlocks project. Kayetan resides in San Antonio, TX.
We love that we get to enrich the very industry we work in. We’re building Hotblocks with our clients and industry colleagues in mind, to enable them to explore new development projects in an engaging, fresh and powerful way. We have a lot of passion for this project because we know there is a clear market need for it, and it allows us to sharpen our GIS skills while flexing our problem-solving and creative muscles too. And most importantly.
Currently we are still in a “beta” phase, and only in one market, but we have a lot of GIS magic that we’re whipping up and new markets that we’re bringing online too. One of the reasons the Austin market is our pilot market is because of the treasure trove of open data that is available on austintexas.gov. In the future we plan to steer this website into a more collaborative and crowdsourced operation, where you can contribute to the effort as well.
